HTC S630 Cavalier

|

The Boy Genius recently received a shiny new HTC Cavalier S630 mobile phone, and couldn't wait to show it off. htc.JPG He posted a number of photos of the new phone, including screenshots of an internet speed test conducted on the phone.

The HTC Cavalier S630 has a Samsung 400MHz processor, 128MB flash memory, and a 2 megapixel camera. It has 3G capability, and is a tri-band phone (850/1900/2100). According to Boy Genius, it has a slight updated form factor over its predecessor, the HTC Excalibur. As well, he says that the JOGGR touch-wheel has been moved from the direct side instead of by the screen.

Sadly though, he has some bad news: this phone may never make it to retail sales. The rumor now is that HTC sent out a memo to all distributors stating that the device has been "postponed indefinitely."
