HTC PPC-6800 Mogul Phone For Sprint
Check out the new HTC PPC-6800 Mogul for Sprint. This new Pocket PC device is eqiupped with one of those slider keyboards, revealing a full-fledged QWERTY keyboard. This appears to be a replacement for the Sprint PPC-6700. The Mogul packs a lot of features including EV-DO, WiFi and a 2 megapixel camera, and as expected, is targeted at business users.
The Mogul measures 110mm x 59mm x 20mm with the keyboard hidden under the device. There are shortcut keys for the messaging and browser applications at the top, while the bottom is equipped with control keys, a start menu key and other quickies. It offers a miniUSB port for data sync, and a microSD memory card slot for memory expansion.
One of the convenient things about having a keyboard is the ability to type faster. The HTC Mogul goes one step ahead and lets you dial a contact by name from the home screen. The camera thankfully has video capability as well. While not exactly "essential" on a business phone, the HTC Mogul does support stereo Bluetooth headphones for listening to music on the move. As with any Windows Mobile 6 phone, there are tons of useful bundled applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to handle Zip and PDF files.
