HTC Magic for Italy’s TIM on May 4By Dax - 04/26/2009 11:50:57 PM |
We thought Vodafone would be the first carrier to make the second Android-powered cell phone, HTC Magic, available in Europe on May 5, but it looks like TIM, a carrier in Italy, might be the first to do that by a mere 24 hours. A quick call from the guys over at Technophone to the carrier revealed that the stores are already in stock and the handset has now appeared on TIM’s website; so a May 4th release doesn’t seem implausible. The HTC Magic has already been blessed by the FCC, so we may not have to wait long before the handset starts popping up Stateside too.
