Due to porting issues with the Sense UI, Android 2.0 has yet to come to the HTC Hero although HTC and Sprint promise a forthcoming update.

There’s no telling when the update will come along but the above screen shot was supposedly taken on an HTC Hero running Android 2.0. Does this mean that Hero owners will be skipping 2.0 all together and be jumping right to 2.1?

Either way, free turn-by-turn GPS and everything else that comes with Android 2.0 definitely is coming to the HTC Hero whether this screen shot speaks the truth or not.
