HTC Hero Has Been Approved by the FCC; Sprint Customers Still WaitingBy Chris - 08/20/2009 4:26:14 PM |
We have good news for you Sprint customers! The Hero, the latest Android phone made by HTC and probably the hottest Android handset available so far, has been approved by the FCC. Does that mean Sprint will launch it soon? We certainly hope so.
The Hero approved by the FCC comes with CDMA/EV-DO support so unless Verizon decides to also sell the phone then we can safely say Sprint will be the designated carrier.
Unfortunately we don’t have any launch dates and price tags just yet but we’ll be waiting in the shadows for Mr. Hesse’s employees to make some sort of official announcement in the near future.
