HTC Dream sales and upgrades halted on Rogers Network

htc-dream-optusHTC Dream owners on the Rogers network are not presently living the Dream today. Apparently, orders have come forth to halt all activations, upgrades, and sadly, sales of the Dream.

The reason for the order is that there is a GPS and software issue that will hinder 911 calls. If you happen to own a Dream, then you should turn off GPS satellite tracking on your mobile until the latest Android 1.5 upgrade comes out. That is all my source says about this for now.
