HTC Dream Google Phone

HTC, a member of the Open Handset Alliance, announced that their Google phone in the works is codenamed "Dream." Some specs about the prototype have already been leaked online. Apparently, it's pretty much like the iPhone (as usual), measures 5x3, is thin, and with a rectangular touch screen. The screen is reportedly time-sensitive, allowing you to control a larger area the longer you hold down your finger on it. You don't have to worry about tapping all day on touch screen, because swiveling the screen aside reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. Core smartphone functionalities like email have their icons on the desktop, while every application you launch will exist in the background if it's inactive. The web browser is also capable of downloading files in stages to make the process easier. HTC is planning to take this prototype into production and we can't wait to see if the HTC "Dream" will be a winner or just another iPhone wannabe.
