Here’s the kind of news I foresaw a few days ago while watching the rumored HTC’s Android powered Dream video. Only that I wasn’t expecting it to arrive so soon. It appears that T-Mobile will start presales for the Dream on September 17th and open sales on September 24th. Named conveniently the G1, I guess Google1 was to long, the Dream will be priced $150 or $399.
What’s the difference? The $150 price is for existing customers and it will be available in the presales week while the $399 will be the official price after that week.
A T-Mobile plan is a must and apparently a GMail account will also be required to activate the phone.
Well then, it appears the video we’ve seen was accurate, wasn’t it? The handset is said to be also available in black and brown. It will feature 3G support, a 3 megapixel camera, a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen.
