HTC Cavalier Approved by FCC

Remember the HTC Cavalier, a replacement to the popular Excalibur series? Hot off the pages of the Federal Communications Commission, we can confirm that the Cavalier has gained approval.

Identified only as CAVA100, the Cavalier can now be sold in the world markets. It will initially be sold in Taiwan, and hit US shores later this year, although a launch date has not been announced.

No word on the pricing. The Cavalier is a 3G/WCDMA phone with Bluetooth and a basic 2 megapixel camera. It also supports 802.11 b/g WLAN connectivity. It uses a Sony ACX362AKM-8 LCD panel for display.
