HTC abandons its plans for Google Chrome OS tabletBy Mark Rollins - 01/20/2010 3:53:13 PM |

At CES 2010, there were a lot of tablets on display, and everyone is saying that this is the year of the tablet. Unfortunately, there is one tablet that won’t be made, at least for now.
Apparently, there was a rumor that HTC was working with Google to make a Chrome OS tablet. However, the marketing director says no, and that they are concentrating on making Android-powered smartphones instead.
I suppose I should say “too bad”, but considering the amount of tablets on the market, I don’t think we’ll notice one missing.
