HP to Offer Cheaper Mini-NoteBy Chris - 07/26/2008 4:25:01 PM |
The battle in the netbook world is tougher than ever wouldn’t you think? After all, with so many companies creating Eee-style mini-notebooks, it’s no wonder that not everyone has the same success. Even Eee is adapting and adjusting their products to maximize sales. And on that note, HP is going to redesign their Mini-Note to make it cheaper and more competitive. Are we to understand that their 2133 Mini-Note isn’t selling as good as they would like?
The Mini-Note looks better but it isn’t necessarily better than current Eee PC models. But it’s certainly more expensive. I guess people would rather buy a 15 inch cheaper laptop than the Mini-Nope from HP.
According to HP officials the new Mini-Note won’t be as durable but it will be cheaper. Hopefully besides durability the will also work on battery life and processor.
No news on when the next Mini-Note is going to be released but we’re hoping that will happen soon enough.
