Sure as clockwork, Verizon is now offering the HP Mini 1151NR netbook, which seems to be a great alternative to squinting at small cellphone screens to view your emails. The price also seems better than what a smartphone would command, with the Mini 1151NR going for $199.99 after a $50 rebate on a 2-year Mobile Broadband contract, or a 1-year contract which rounds up to $299.99 after rebate. Not much considering that the netbook has EVDO Rev. A, quad-band GPRS/EDGE/GSM, and triband HSPA/UMTS support, running on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of memory, and 80GB HDD with a large 10.1-inch display. Head over to Verizon to get your netbook fix.

Seems like a great alternative to smartphone. The keyboard size alone is enough to make one consider this option. My fingers can’t work the small devices and this product seems like a good solution to anyone who has struggled with the smaller devices. Mobile broadband option is also a plus.
