Here is something simple --- I had to troubleshoot my wireless card every time I booted up. Try this: insert the wireless card AFTER your mini is completely booted up - works perfect every time now.

In April 2009 I ordered a Mini HP 1000. I sent it back in May because I could never get it connected to my wireless connection or the internet. HP sent my Mini 1000 back to me 2 weeks later saying that they had reloaded my lap top and I would have no more problems. Well I don't know what they did if anything but my Mini 1000 still will not connect to anything. HP admitted that the lap top was defective but told me that I couldn't send it back for a refund or replacement. I have purchased over $7,000.00 in HP equipment over the last 7 years and this is how they treat you. I've given my last dime to these people.
