The EliteBook 2730p tablet PC has been caught on video. How do you like what you see?
Now that you’ve seen the scroll buttons and the secured stylus, let me show you some more features you would be interested in.

The 2730p has about everything the 2530p offers. That means an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV, a choice between an 80GB SSD or an 80 to 120GB HDD, up to 4GB RAM and a few business tools including a business card reader and some security options like Drive Guard.

Screen size you ask? There’s a 12.1-inch diagonal widescreen HP Illumi-Lite LED display. It will get you where you need to be.

The tablet is really useful and really portable. You can get it anywhere in the world. Dust , altitude or temperature won’t stop it. It’s so rugged that it can handle Windows Vista but luckily there’s an XP downgrade installed. Just in case you need it to get things done

Wirelessly speaking, there’s Intel 802.11a/b/g/draft-n, Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/draft-n, Bluetooth 2.0, HP Wireless Assistant, Bluetooth 2.0 and an optional HP un2400 EV-DO/HSPA Mobile Broadband Module. You’ll also get two USB 2.0 ports, VGA, stereo microphone and headphone and a Secure Digital memory card slot.

There’s more but you’d better check it all out for yourself. The HP EliteBook 2730p is supposed to come out sometime in September for around $1670.
