HP dropping Android tablet project

HP_webOS_tablet_slate1Despite rumors of the HP Slate being canceled, the HP Slate has dropped Windows for Palm WebOS.

I had no idea that they were planning an Android version of the Slate, or some version of an Android tablet. We have since learned that this project has been dropped. Yes, there will be no HP Android tablet.

Well, I guess we will see how Palm WebOS will do. After all, HP had to buy Palm for a reason.
