HP acquires Palm for 1.2 billionBy Mark Rollins - 04/29/2010 1:10:43 PM |
Well, we all knew that Palm was up for sale, and it was just a matter of time before someone bought it up.
It looks like it was HP that has bought it up for about $1.2 billion at about $5.70 per share. The deal will close at HP’s third fiscal quarter on July 31st.
Who knows how this will affect Palm, HP, and customers.
