How to create ringtones for your iPhone with iTunes

|

iphone-ring-tones1.jpgWhile Apple is trying to gain some share on the ringtones market for the iPhone, there are alternatives that don't force you to spend money in order to have those ringtones you always wanted. Oddly enough, one of those free alternatives is by using an Apple product, in this case, iTunes.

The whole process of creating iPhone ringtones with iTunes is pretty easy and only has 3 or 4 steps, in the end it is a good result and you will probably keep creating ringtones forever and ever.

Summarized process to create ringtones: go to the iTunes store and buy a song that has a bell close to it. After downloading, right-click on the file and pick the “Create Ringtone” option.

Pick the desired part of the song that you want to be the ringtone, and save. Afterwards, just sync it with your iPhone, transfer the file and you're good to go.
