In the mobile world the smaller and the faster the better right?
What you see in the picture above is a 500 asian coin a 5 megapixels camera from Sharp.

I know what you are thinking. That’s not a larger than usual coin. It’s a normal one. That’s how big the camera is. Or small I should say. Needless to say I am expecting this camera to go into multiple smartphones, laptops, pocket PCs and more.

Although it measures 9.5 x 9.5 x 6.6mm it’s a 5 megapixels camera with autofocus and it’s going to be manufactured starting July by Sharp.
