How Much for an UR-202 Eco-friendly Watch?

|

Left and right you always get news about eco-friendlier gadgets, cars or companies. Everyone is trying to find additional power supplies to mount on their products. Bun are those inventions also wallet friendly.

Urwerk's UR-202 wristwatch is the first watch ever to be powered up by air. How does it work? In case you aren't going to buy one and see for yourself here's how. If you turn it over you're going to find two turbines into the bezel controlled by a three-position switch. The turbines draw air from within the wateproof case and then the air gets into a compression chamber which powers the shock absorber of the main rotor's winding mechanism. No batteries, and a longer mechanism life for this watch.

But how much is this eco-friendly device worth? It depends if you want it in red or white gold. A black platinum UR-202 comes to about $200,000. What do you think?
