ViewSonic NextVision N2050w LCD TV
ViewSonic announced their new multi-function display, the NextVision N2050w LCD TV. Geared for HDTV, the N2050w is a 20" companion for your desktop.
The N2050w comes with a wide array of connectivity options, right from DVD players, game consoles and PCs to cable and camcorders. With a 1366x768 pixel resolution and 1000:1 contrast ratio (500 nits of brightness), the N2050w guarantees high quality digital video. It is HDTV-compatible (supporting 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i), as well as with progressive scan DVD players.
The multi-function display is ideal when you want to convert your PC to a small-screen movie player or watch your favorite TV shows. The sound? A not-so-impressive 10-watt sound system. But that's good enough for your dorm room, I suppose.
The price is around US $549 (I'd go for it - it's a TV-and-computer display rolled into one, for heaven's sake!), and more info is available from ViewSonic's website.
