Video Without Boundaries (yes, that's their name) unveiled the MediaREADY 6000 digital media center. The MediaREADY is a TV set-top box that combines DVD/MP3/CD recording and playback functionalities, added with a browser, mail client and media jukebox.

With the new version, VWB also introduced CableCARD for digital cable tuning and ATSC/NTSC/PAL tuners for watch/record, HD support with MPEG 2-4, DivX, WMV and VC-1 codecs. If that's not enough, it also comes with VoIP and video conf support thanks to the included camera and mic.

Check out the MediaREADY 6000 in the Sands Convention Center - IP 240 at next month's CES. It sports a massive 200 gig hard drive, PVR to DVD read/write support and new case design. A wireless keyboard is also provided for convenient web surfing from the couch.
