Stewart Filmscreen Displays CineCurve

Cinecurve-1.jpgStewart Filmscreen Corporation, the industry leader in projection screen technology in the home cinema and commercial markets revealed it's innovative new CineCurve screen at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) Feb-2006. The Cinecurve is powered by a revolutionary 2.35:1 screen that maintains a constant vertical height, eliminating horizontal Black Bars when used with projector/anamorphic lens technology. So what it actuall means is the image is bigger and brighter than it would be on a similar sized traditional screen.

The concave shape of the Cinecurve, focuses light coming from the image back toward the seating area, making the image appear even brighter and with it limits the amount of light that is reflected onto the side walls. Also it features a unique masking system with which it can accomadate any standard aspect ratio. The screen uses Stewart Filmscreen's lauded propriatery BRIC(Binary Resiprocal Intelligent Control) technology which is industry's fastest digital control device. So what it ensures is the compatibility with most IR, RS-232 and RS-422 systems.
