Sony's new Bravia Rear Projection LCD TV
Sony unveiled their latest addition to the family of rear-projection LCD TVs, the 50" Bravia KDF-E50A12U (could the naming convention be any more confusing?). The Bravia features Sony's new 3LCD technology, is HD-ready and geared for tomorrow's digital transmission.
The 3LCD technology incorporates three projection panels instead of the usual one panel for displaying natural image quality with sharper details. The 'wow' feature is a PC-compatible input, so you can easily connect your PC and enjoy the advantages of a huge screen to browse the Internet or play games. Better image quality is guaranteed by the 3D comb filter that separates color and brightness information from the signal transmitted to the TV.
The Bravia (Sony's acronym for Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture - I wonder who came up with that one!) KDF-E50A12U is HD-ready, now capable of recreating the finest HD-quality images, so users can look forward to this feature.
Priced around £1,400, more info about the Sony Bravia KDF-E50A12U is available from Sony's website.
