Nexus M1000 Media Center
When Intel releases a new technology, especially something related to home entertainment, you don't sit back and relax. You go and do something like what Computer Technology Link has done: release the new Nexus M1000 Media Center with the spanking new Viiv technology from Intel.
The M1000 was showcased at the 2006 CES, and allows consumers to access digital media from a remote control. Just plug it into any TV in the house. Navigation is by the use of a keyboard/mouse combo or the convenient remote control. If you have a Windows MCE (Media Center Edition) PC lying around in the house, you can connect this one as well to the M1000, allowing you to access media on the PC.
The Viiv technology implies powerful dual core processors, 7.1 surround sound, online connectivity and a host of other features. With a 2.8GHz processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM and two 300GB SATA hard drives, the Nexus M1000 is one mammoth powerhouse.
Priced at US $2,249, the Nexus M1000 media center is available now. For details, check out Computer Technology Link's website.
