New LG High Definition Plasma TV Has Built-In Seagate Hard Drive
Samsung has announced that the newest LG Electronics Plasma Television displays have Seagate Hard Drives integrated into them providing the storage space necessary for high definition recording. The new LG 60PY2DR and 50PY2DR Plasma High Definition Televisions both have integrated DVRs into the unit.
The new LG displays use the Seagate DB35 Series 160GB hard drive to store up to 14 hours of digital high definition programming or 62 hours of digital standard definition programming. These new plasmas offer automatic time shifting features, slow motion rewind and foreward capabilities, and instant replay.
