Nec VT48 Projector
NEC added the VT48 projector to its affordable VT series of LCD projectors last month. With a rated brightness of 1,600 ANSI lumens and SVGA (800 x 600 pixels) resolution, it just about serves the purpose.
The VT48 features built-in wall correction, a feature that allows images to be projected on non-white backgrounds. Of course, I don't need to mention that keystone correction facility is available as well, providing for square images.
The setup is very easy - you can have it up and projecting in a few seconds out of the box. If used in Econo mode, you can get a lamp life of an amazing 4,000 hours and even maintain low noise levels (at around 25 dB). Being lightweight and portable, it should appeal to loads of businesses and institutions.
