NEC added another product to its popular LT series of projectors, with the new LT280 LCD projector. The LT280 has integrated wired and wireless LAN capabilities. Providing XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) in a 7.7-pound package, the LT280 has a rated 600:1 contrast ratio.
The LT280 features standard RJ45 jack for connecting to wired networks, and configurable 802.11 b/g compatible wireless LAN connectivity. Thanks to RJ45, the LT280 can easily be managed and diagnosed from remote locations.
Heck, the user even gets an email from the projector when the lamp's end-of-life is nearing. I'm glad it doesn't connect to NEC's website directly and orders a replacement using your credit card information. With a rated 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, the LT280 has a fair amount of improvements in the security area.
Priced at US $1,995, the NEC LT280 projector is best suited for large organizations. More info is available from NEC's website. Check out the extended entry for some juicy specs.
