LG's 50" plasma TV, the LG 50PB2DW, has been conferred the Best of Innovations award in the Digital Display category by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Winning products will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Jan 5-8, 2006.

The 50PB2DW happens to be a radio TV, but details are not available yet. We at the Whack don't know Korean, unfortunately, so more info will be available as soon as it becomes available. Apparently, it includes a transmitter that displays pictures from any source without meddlesome wires.
