Akimbo has announced the new Akimbo for Media Center product bringing their award winning Internet television video on demand service to the Microsoft Windows Media Center platform. You'll be able to access the new Akimbo service via the Online Spotlight feature of MCE OS's.

Akimbo offers programming from over 150 distinctive providers and over 75 categories of video content complementing existing television services. You'll be able to find content from media companies such as BBC, the Discovery Network, and the Hallmark Channel. The Akimbo service bridges the gap between broadcast cable, and broadband services by providing content not found on TV straight to your PC.
