Inteset Denzel TP420-SD Media Server
Inteset announced their new Denzel TP420-SD media server, based on Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) and their own software, offering a wide array of features not found in other systems. Incorporating a custom movie management/storage/playback module, the Denzel comes with three audio zones, apart from the standard set that ships with MCE. With 7.1 surround sound, HDTV, SDTV and FM tuner, Inteset have one of the most advanced home entertainment solutions around.
Whew, this is definitely kick-ass stuff. Add to this the simplicity of Windows XP MCE, including wireless control via remote control or keyboard and you have a killer combination that's begging to find a corner in your home. As their website claims (and I'd have a hard time disagreeing) -- convergence at its best.
Boasting 1 Terabyte of storage (upgradeable to 2 TB - but I bet you knew that already), the Denzel comes with a dual layer DVD burner. The exclusive My Movies module allows you to search by title/genre/ratings/actors and play the movies. To update info about movies, simply access Inteset's free movie profile database by entering the movie's UPC code.
ATI Radeon X700 Pro with 256MB of GDDR3 video memory and Creative Labs EAX-Enhanced HD 7.1 surround sound automatically imply that you will be spending hours on end in front of the Denzel. To protect against any data loss, Inteset also supports several RAID configurations available up to 1.1 TB of RAIDed storage.
