Hoap3 Soccer Robot

Robots have always been a source of both wonder and admiration. Those of you, who have seen the robot Vicki in the Small Wonder TV show or Irona in Richie Rich Cartoon Show, must have wished to get one robot that performs all chores. Look at this robot “HOAP-3” from Fujitsu Automation that marked its entry into the 2007 Robot Awards. Although it cannot do work like those characters, but it can keep a track of its soccer ball, kick it and grab it. The HOAP-3's face has wide eyes and gaping mouth. We wonder what will be its use. Let us leave it to the robotics department. May be this innovation is a step ahead towards androids.
