Hitachi Travelstar 5K500 HDD for Notebooks
Along with the 1TB capacity HDDs, Hitachi is rolling out TB Mobile Hard Drives. Boasting the World's Highest Capacity these 2.5-Inch Hard Drives will mark a revolution in the world of Computing. The company is exhibiting the newest Travelstar 5K500 HDD at the CES 2008. Hitachi does not want its consumers to compromise on the storage capacity. The Travelstart is available in 400GB or 500GB model. The Travelstar 5K500 was designed to address some important trends taking place in today's notebook computing market," said Larry Swezey, director, Consumer and Commercial HDD, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. The Travelstar 5K500 will ship worldwide in February.
