Hewlett-Packard Net Profit Increases 15%By Jeff Baker - 08/19/2008 5:03:37 PM |

Hewlett-Packard, the largest computer manufacturer in the world, has recently announced a 14% increase in their net profits for the third quarter. To be more specific, net income rose from $1.78 billion to $2.03 billion, with sales reaching as high as $28 billion.
HP attributes the recent profit increase to new notebook designs, saying it attracted more potential buyers to actually purchase HP machines.
Not too shabby considering all they did was splash some color and pretty designs onto their laptops. Good job HP!
