GSM/Linux E2831 Mobile Converged Smart Phone

e2831_1.jpg The manufacturer E28 Ltd. new E2831 Linux powered phone has been recently been approved by the FCC. This phone can be used as a normal mobile phone with any GSM network and sim card or save on your mobile minutes and use VoIP via WiFi and the SIP protocol. The E2831 has a 2.2” touchscreen, OMAP TI 730 processor, and 64MB of RAM and Flash memory. Connectivity options include USB 1.1 and wireless Bluetooth 1.2. Internet browsing is possible with the installed Opera browser. Support for e-mail include POP3, SMTP, and eSMTP. This phone is very versatile and useful for just about anyone. Availability is unknown at this time
