GPS Wristband of the FutureBy Chris - 08/31/2008 9:57:55 AM |

How do you like the concept wristband in the picture here? Designed by Jukka Roitto, Miska Vaisanen and Jordan Siegler and called Seek, this device might be a hit product in a few years. Or not.
I don’t know if a GPS device mounted on your wristband could be that practical. There aren’t that many situations in which you would actually need GPS while out of the car. And if you do happen to need it why not rely on your cell phone’s GPS capabilities?
I’d like to see more features, at least in theory, which would make it even more appealing. I am talking about, WiFi Internet, music and video playing and more. But with any of these features in place, it would be rather difficult to control the Seek with only one hand wouldn’t you say? And imagine that wrist after watching Star Wars Episode One on it.
