I have to admit that I have never seen the animation from Gorillaz, but I heard that it is pretty awesome, in a demented kind of way.

The band has a new album called Plastic Beach, and so they have created this game known as Escape to Plastic Beach to market and celebrate. There are eight levels of action, and you get to play Murdoc. It reminds me of the Shinobi Ninja app that was released last February.

I’m sure that this game is targeted for Gorillaz fans, but you can try it out for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch for about $1.99.
