With Google Android’s free navigation app, it will probably make a lot of people happy with its turn-by-turn instructions. However, it does change things in the Navigation market. Apparently, Garmin and TomTom’s stock prices fell at an alarming rate.

This could be one of those times where free technology is going to overshadow those who have gotten rich off of it.
