The master of the universe, Google, has decided that the term “netbook” won’t be allowed anymore in any kind of their Adwords. Google feels that Psion, the Netbook creator, should be the only one to use the word. What will everyone call those tiny, ultra-portable laptops now that Google has investigated that trademark claim and gave a sentence favorable to Psion. So how should we refer to netbooks now that Google doesn’t approve of it? How does Tiny-Ultraportable Laptop sound Goggle? Or the acronym version: TUL? Eee TULs anyone?
And by the way, is Psion going to release any new netbooks? Why do they need the word if they won’t be using it?
