Google Gesture Search for AndroidBy Mark Rollins - 03/04/2010 8:58:20 PM |

Here’s an interesting thing worthy of owning Android in order to get. Google Gesture Search allows the user to draw, presumably with a finger or stylus, on the touchscreen of the mobile device in order to look up a contact. You can also erase a query by crossing it out horizontally from left to right, and right to left to remove the last letter or space of the query.
Well, this ought to make contact searches a lot easier, shouldn’t it? Of course, there is the matter of handwriting. You will note how the “A” looks like an “H”, but the Gesture Search seems to offer both possibilities.
The Google Gesture Search is available on Android, but I can’t help but wonder why it wasn’t an Apple App first.
