Genuitec LLC is a company famous for both the commercial product myEclipse and the free Eclipse-based community, Pulse. Pulse users rejoice; it's definitely Christmas for you guys because you can now use a Google Android SDK-based profile. The new addition could be installed from the "Popular" area in the profile. Pulse users have been reportedly requesting this addition and Genuitec did not disappoint.

"I contacted the Pulse team over the weekend about adding Android," said Ed Burnette, author of ZDNet's Dev Connection blog. "On Tuesday, Android is in the catalog and available to the world. That's great service."

The Google Android SDK is the newest open source tool in the Pulse catalog which includes Groovy, Ruby Development Tools, TPTP and many others which the community requests. Pulse version 1.0 will launch on January 2008.
