Remember the GETAC V100 Notebook/Tablet PC that was recently approved by the FCC? Well, it has just been unleashed into the world markets.

Compliant with MIL-STD 810F and IP54 standards, the V100 is geared to meet everyday use of military/public safety/law enforcement/field service personnel. Powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, GETAC has equipped this notebook/tablet PC with 512MB of RAM, with an option to upgrade to 2GB.

Housed in a rugged magnesium alloy case, the V100 features a 10.4 inch screen (you can read it in broad daylight without having to squint) and 120GB shock-mounted removable hard drive. Goodies on the notebook include a waterproof camera, integrated Bluetooth, optional GPS and 3G capabilities.
