Now this is what I consider a potentially cool present for Christmas. The BachPod is a limited edition issue featuring the classic 120GB Apple iPod and 175 hours of masterpieces by J. S. Bach. And because we’re in the Xmas season, they threw in an extra 63 GB in for you!
Initially it was supposed to be an original 172CD release to commemorate 250 years from Bach’s death. I wonder why we don’t celebrate his birthday? I mean nothing good came out of his death anyway.
The music on the iPod is considered to be the most valuable collection of Bach’s work, that has been ever recorded, the Bachakademie Edition. You can get this nice package for Christmas for about $750. If you would purchase the two apart from each other, they would be way more expensive considering the fact that this music collection is worth something about 1.000GBP.
