German Apple iPhone Coming Soon

|

According to Reuters sources, Deutsche Telekom has signed an exclusive deal with Apple to sell the iPhone in Germany. An official statement is expected next week. The Reuters report goes on to say that Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile has agreed to share voice/data revenues generated by the phones with Apple. With the European launch of the iPhone imminent, it remains to be seen how the phone will fare in that part of the world.

There's still no confirmation if a 3G version of the iPhone will hit Europe.
