Gemei has launched a new eBook reader codenamed GM2000 which is priced at approximately $120 and comes in two versions: a 7-inch colorful screen providing a resolution of 800480, or a 6-inch e-ink display screen with 800×600 being the resolution.

The Gemei G2000 can also playback videos and has an HDMI output, it supports a lot of different format files including: H.264, AVI, MOV, WMV, DVD and MP4 – for the videos. As for text and other presentation models it supports TXT, PDF, XLS, PPT, and can even read content on a compressed .zip file. It comes with 4GB of internal memory and supports FC memory cards of 32GB.
