Gaming laptop you say? Well don’t mind me if I do! It will certainly match my the BooB BeeB media chair I was talking about earlier on today. Let’s look at Gateway’s P-7811 FX gaming laptop.

We’ll start off by applauding once again a brilliant name here, the P-7811. I guess naming it anything like MacBook or Inspiron would have been way too complicated. Well actually it would be complicated due to trademarks and so on! So let’s cut to the chase with the P-7811’s features:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26GHz, 3MB L2 cache with 1066MHz FSB),
  • PM45 Express chipset,
  • 17-inch WUXGA display at 1920 x 1200,
  • Nvidia GeForce 9800M-GTS with 512MB GDDR3,
  • 200GB 7200RPM hard disk,
  • 8x DVD burner,
  • HDMI 1.2, eSATA,
  • 5-in-1 media card reader,
  • 1.3MP camera, and a
  • 9-cell Li-ion battery.

Well I must admit that what if it lacks a cool name it certainly doesn’t lack some appealing hardware features. Rumors say this baby is coming out on August 14th for only $1,499.
