Gateway unveils a new series with the EC collection, spearheaded by the Gateway EC14D ultraportable entertainer with integrated DVD drive. The EC14D boasts of an 11.6” HD Ultra-bright LED backlit TFT LCD widescreen powered by an Intel Pentium ULV Processor SU4100. It also comes with a mobile Intel GS45 Express Chipset, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, 4MB DDR and a 320GB HDD.

Other features aside from the integrated 8X DVD player include a webcam, multi-in-1 card reader and WiFi, LAN and USB ports. The Gateway EC14D will be available later this month and will retail for $629.99.
