Gateway has slashed the prices from some of its notebooks and desktop PC’s to make it more affordable to students and parents in preparation for the coming school year. Steve Bulling, a senior manager for the company, has affirmed this news.

Students can choose from the three notebook lines to find a model that best fits their needs. They can choose from Gateway P-Series desktop replacement with a 17-inch widescreen, Gateway M-Series all-purpose notebook with a 15.4-inch widescreen or the Gateway T-series thin-and-light notebook with a 14.1-inch widescreen. These machines will feature Intel Centrino Mobile Technology and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Or if students want a desktop, they can choose from these:
