The Garmin zumo 450 is a complete navigational device for motorcycle riders and according to Garmin its comprehensive feature set makes it ideal for the rider on the go.

The zumo 450 includes a glove-friendly design and has left-handed controls, preloaded street maps and a sunlight-readable screen. The water-proof navigator is ideal for dynamic environments. The zumo 450 has been outfitted with a sunlight-readable, UV-resistant display and the touch screen with left-handed controls makes it highly easy to operate.

The zumo 450 comes pre-installed with City Navigator NT street maps and a hefty points of interest (POIs) database, including motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. One can also add their own POIs like; school zones and safety cameras. One can also download their favorite treks to the accompanying MapSourceï½® software and plan their routes on their computer and download it to the zumo.

The navigational device has been equipped with a SD card slot and one can also access information like speed, heading, and fuel gauge on the display. Security features include; locking motorcycle mount with waterproof power and data cable connections and a theft prevention system that disables the zumo from performing any functions until the user types in a specific 4-digit PIN. The zumo 450 is expected to be available in March 2007 at an MSRP of $799.
