Another Garmin product with MSN Direct capabilities is the Garmin StreetPilotï½® c580. The GPS device apart from the MSN Direct service which lets you check the weather, avoid traffic backups, compare local gas prices and movie times also comes with hands-free calling, preloaded maps and an MP3 player.

The Garmin StreetPilotï½® c580 measures 11.3 x 8.2 x 5.6 cm and has a battery life of around 8 hours. Maps can be viewed in both 2D and 3D on the 2.8 anti-glare touch-screen and Garmin has equipped the device with the high-sensitivity WAAS-enabled GPS receiver. The device comes preloaded with City Navigator NT street maps and a hefty points of interest (POIs) database, including motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. One can also add their own POIs like; school zones and safety cameras.

The c580 integrates Bluetooth wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker, so handsfree calling is a breeze. For entertainment purposes the device has a MP3 Player and a SD Card slot. The StreetPilot c580 is expected to be available in February 2007 for $799.99.
