Garmin GRC 10 Remote Control

|

GarminLogo.jpgGarmin introduced a new remote, designed to work with the GDL69A, to receive broadcast weather data and CD quality audio entertainment from XM WX(TM) Satellite Weather and XM Satellite Radio. The idea is to make flying more enjoyable for pilots and passengers flying aboard a Garmin equipped aircraft. Passengers in the cabin of the airplane can scan through their favorite XM radio channels without disturbing the pilot.

It has a high contrast, 160x128 pixel back lit display that makes it viewable in all lighting conditions. The remote uses two AA batteries and turns itself off when not in use. And with its strong 2.4 GHz RF link, you can control the XM from anywhere in the cabin. The availability will be around June, 2007 for around $590.00.
